Sidney Cheyenne

Sidney was born on October 13th, 2004, at 2:07 AM after being induced at 38 weeks because of low amniotic fluid.  Sidney weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce and was 20.5 inches long.  My wife choose to have a natural birth and didn't use any pain meds, wow!  Mother and baby both did exceptionally well during birth and were allowed to come home to rest on October 14th. My mother and I were both there to witness the birth and I had the opportunity to cut the cord.

We haven't been able to determine exactly what color her eyes are yet.  When we can get a glimpse it appears they are almost a gray color in the middle with blue on the outside edges.  Different people come up with different colors, so we really haven't decided yet.  After she starts opening her eyes more we hope to get a picture and decide for certain.
